No Added Sugar

When you see the claim "No Added Sugar" on our products, you can trust that the natural taste of the ingredients takes centre stage. The only sugars present are those naturally occurring in milk, cereals or fruit. This allows you to give your child a conscious and balanced diet right from the start.

Every cereal is clearly labelled and carefully developed to meet your baby’s nutritional needs.

Naturally sweet – with no added sweeteners.

Vitamin B1: Small but Essential

Vitamin B1 is part of the B-vitamin family and contributes to the normal conversion of carbohydrates into energy. Cereal-based complementary foods are legally required to contain a minimum amount of vitamin B1, and our recipes are carefully formulated to meet this requirement.

Together with whole grains, vitamin B1 forms a well-balanced part of the recipe.

Töpfer Organic Wheat Semolina Cereal with Apple & Banana - FAQ

  • When can a baby eat wheat semolina cereal? Show Hide
Wheat semolina cereal is suitable for babies once they are ready for complementary foods. This is usually around the sixth month. It is important that the cereal is age-appropriate in its composition and easy to spoon-feed.

In our recipes, we use selected organic durum wheat semolina, which is gently processed and contributes to a fine, creamy consistency.
  • Which semolina is suitable for babies? Show Hide
Finely milled wheat semolina in organic quality is particularly suitable for baby cereals. It is easy to prepare, creates a pleasantly creamy consistency and fits well into mild recipes for the weaning period.
  • Can babies eat regular wheat semolina? Show Hide
Babies can generally eat wheat semolina as part of complementary feeding, provided it is fine enough and prepared in an age-appropriate way. Classic household semolina can be coarser and is not always specifically tailored to the needs of babies.
Töpfer uses selected organic ingredients and processes the semolina with particular care to create a fine consistency that suits the weaning period.
  • Why is fine wheat semolina better suited to babies? Show Hide
Fine-grained wheat semolina can be processed particularly well into a smooth, creamy cereal. Especially at the beginning of complementary feeding, an even, spoon-friendly consistency is important. When buying, also make sure that the cereal is age-appropriate in its composition.
