A legacy of nurturing
Our story began in 1911 with a clear mission: to support babies and mothers with care. As the first company in Germany to produce infant milk, we were already providing families with gentle organic nutrition back then. Today, deeply rooted in the Allgäu, we combine more than 100 years of experience with natural ingredients — for you and your baby in every stage of life.
This is milk
Our organic infant milk comes directly from the Allgäu — from farms where cows live happily, graze on fresh herbs, and can roam freely. Completely natural, without genetic engineering, antibiotics, or growth promoters. Every litre is strictly monitored and travels only short distances — for more freshness and less environmental impact. Why do we do this? Because nothing is more important than your baby — and the world they grow up in.
Sustainable from the start
For us, sustainability isn’t a trend — it’s our standard. From animal welfare to raw materials, we act responsibly: with organic farming, without genetic engineering, and with the greatest care for nature, mothers, and babies. The Allgäu is our home — and our responsibility. That’s why we rely on regional resources, certified organic ingredients, and 100% green electricity. At the same time, we continuously work to save energy, reduce waste, and give back through environmental and social projects. Because we believe: only when we protect the environment do we also protect the future of our children.
Sustainability targets by 2025
Climate: Reduction of CO₂ emissions from 0.85 t CO₂ per ton of product sold (as of 31 December 2021) to 0.60 t CO₂ per ton of product sold by 31 December 2025. Quality: Continuously maintain or improve the level of quality. IFS result 2021: 97.87% IFS result 2025: 98.76%. Health: Target by 2025 – Reduce the employee sickness rate from 6.5% (as of 31 December 2021) to an average of 5.5% by 31 December 2025.
