Organic Cow’s Milk from the Allgäu

For our Töpfer infant formula, we use only regional organic cow’s milk from the Allgäu, sourced from certified family farms that care for their animals responsibly and farm sustainably. The cows graze on lush Allgäu meadows, enjoy plenty of outdoor time, and have spacious barns for shelter when the winter snow gets too deep. The farms feed only organic fodder — free from genetic engineering, antibiotics, and growth promoters. Every liter of milk meets the highest organic standards and is transported to the dairy via short routes. This creates a valuable foundation for our organic infant and follow-on milk — produced responsibly and with respect for animals, people, and nature.

DHA

DHA belongs to the group of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and is an important component of our infant formula. Its addition is legally required in infant nutrition — and we carefully select the source for our recipe. DHA helps ensure that your baby is well-nourished from day one. Since the need is particularly high during the first months of life, we’ve optimally adjusted the amount to meet the requirements of this sensitive stage. Omega-3 and Omega-6

On Nutrition – Breastfeeding is best for your baby, as breast milk provides exactly the nutrients your child needs for healthy development. Before using an infant formula, please consult your midwife or pediatrician. On Dental Health – Please do not use the bottle as a pacifier substitute or for continuous sucking, and ensure regular dental care for your baby. The reason: frequent contact with carbohydrate-containing foods is harmful to teeth and can cause severe tooth damage (caries). All infant formulas contain carbohydrates, e.g., lactose. A bottle feed should therefore only last as long as the actual feeding process.
Can ready-to-drink PRE formula be given cold? Show Hide

Yes, ready-to-drink PRE formula can be fed cold in exceptional cases when warming is not possible. However, babies usually prefer it at body temperature, around 37 °C, as this is closest to breast milk. The ready-to-drink formula can easily be warmed to the desired temperature using a bottle warmer. Make sure the milk does not get too hot to avoid burns.

No, once warmed, ready-to-drink PRE formula must not be reused. Heating and contact with saliva can cause bacteria to multiply. It is therefore recommended to only warm the amount of liquid organic PRE formula needed and to discard any leftovers. This ensures your baby’s safety and health.

The best way to warm ready-to-drink baby formula is gently in a bottle warmer. It’s important not to heat it in the microwave, as this can cause uneven heating and hot spots. Before feeding, always check the temperature on the inside of your wrist to ensure it is pleasantly warm, about 37 °C, but not too hot.
How long does ready-to-drink PRE formula last? Show Hide

Unopened ready-to-drink PRE formula will keep until the printed best-before date if stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, it should be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 24 hours. Formula that has already been warmed must not be reheated, to avoid the risk of bacterial growth. Always follow the hygiene instructions on the packaging to ensure the quality of the ready-to-drink baby formula.
